A song to complete, a song to begin

I have walked great long roads, won many worlds, I am a king who has seen glory all the way, a road laid on blood and death.


Great Storms collide, worlds come down as new worlds are born; a cause for loss yet complete,
I have taken solace in destruction; for I rest upon the truth where there is death can only be new life.

I have ruled worlds, I am a king of kings, and yet all I seek today and unto the ends of time is your sanctuary; 

To you I surrender my Life, to you I surrender my Karma,
 

Krishna, you are the very meaning of life itself,

my actions are yours, my desires are yours

I may carry briefly the burdens of life; I seek riches and glory far beyond imagination can comprehend,
yet I am fragile as a drop of dew in front of the all-consuming sun that is you.

I sing one final song; I will give you one last demand;
Keep me from my sins, take them as your own.

Like poison, like a vine that devours life,
this cowardice and malice,
greed and jealousy,
rage and sorrow
takes shape in my heart and soul, too dark and heavy I can move nowhere,
it is the shadow of  dark shadows.

I surrender unto you, to the light that would break the darkness wherever,
I surrender unto you.

I give you all my sins, I give you all that I seek;
All my actions are your bidding, all my glory is only your doing.

There shall be no more sorrow, there shall be no more pain. 
I do not know what is right and what is wrong, for I take what comes from you as it will be   
No defeats shall conquer me, no pain shall break me, for all of them are roads that lead unto you,
You are the universe, the creator and the destroyer. Krishna, you are the very meaning of meaning itself.
